After the starters, you can start main course like Beef Steak, Char Grilled Rack of Lamb, Homemade Braised Rabbit Ravioli with Wilted Roquette & Parmesan. You can finish off the meal with lip smacking desserts like Dark Chocolate Mousse and Cheese Platter & Rye Bread.

“There are numerous restaurants in the Kathmandu Valley that serve the same Continental, Indian, Chinese and Nepalese dishes. We are different from them; as we offer the best of European cuisines at an affordable cost,” Deepak Sharma, manager of Le Sherpa, said. “To make sure that your dishes have the taste and aura of European cuisines, we hire European chefs as consultants. Our chefs learn from them and prepare typical European cuisines here in Kathmandu.”

Le Sherpa is soon bringing a pastry chef from Switzerland to better serve its valued customers. “The chef will design our pastry menu and share his culinary skills to our chefs,” added Sharma.

Along with European dishes, the restaurant serves beverages from all around the world. “We have a well-stocked bar that meets the taste of all,” he added.

Le Sherpa seats 70 persons at a time. It also has a spacious garden where people can enjoy meal basking in the winter sun. All the staff members at Le Sherpa serve guests with a smile. This is one of the USPs of Le Sherpa. It is open from 7 in the morning till 10 pm.

Ramhari Giri, the head chef of the restaurant, has more than a decade of experience serving in different star hotels and upscale eateries. “I always put my best efforts to make sure that the taste of our dish is consistent,” added Giri.

According to Sharma, foreign tourists and expatriate community are the major clients of the restaurant. “Nepalis, who have tasted European dishes, also visit us,” he added.

The restaurant also serves different varieties of Illy coffee.

“We are very happy from the response we have received from our customers,” Sharma said, adding, “The overwhelming response from our customers had forced us to expand. We are shortly opening our branch in Durbar Marg.”
